Why KAG EAST University?
KAG EAST University is a Private Christian University chartered in 2016 by the Government of Kenya. It is accredited by the Commission for University Education (CUE) to offer Certificate, Diploma, & Undergraduate.
What Programs are on offer?
SESS is currently made up of four departments. These include Education, Business Administration, Counselling Psychology & Community Development. Each of these departments offers Undergraduate, Diploma & Certificate Programmes.
How long do the programs take?
- Bachelors: 3 - 4 Academic years
- Diploma: 2 Academic years
- Certificate: 1 Academic year
Can I get credit transfer if I have previous academic qualifications?
Yes. After a student makes an application to the Registrar, he or she will be advised on whether or not they qualify for Credit Transfer.
Are online classes available in the School?
Yes. But there are other modes of learning available that you can choose from. They include: in-person classes, blended classes (mix of In-person and Online) and distance self-paced learning.
When are the intakes conducted?
For Government-sponsored students, the intakes are in September (beginning of academic year and September (2nd semester) with a long break in-between. The self-sponsored student has the option of following the semester system or taking 3 trimesters per year.
Are there any short courses on offer?
There are many short courses in the offing that shall be rolled out soon.
How much do I have to pay to study in the School?
How much you pay depends on how many units you are able to carry in a semester or trimester. This information is best discussed with the school administrator who will help you to calculate according to your units.
